The catalogues and mid-infrared environment of Interstellar OH Masers

Data for a number of OH maser lines have been collected from surveys. The posi- tions are compared to recent mid-infrared (MIR) surveys such as Spitzer-GLIMPSE and WISE, restricting the comparison to point sources. The colors and intensities of the IR sources are compared. There are many 18 cm OH masers, but far fewer in lines arising from higher energy levels. We also make a comparison with the 5 cm Class II methanol masers. We have divided the results into 3 subsamples: those associated with OH masers only, those associated with OH masers and Class II methanol masers, and those only associated with Class II methanol masers. There are no obvious dif- ferences in the color-color or color-magnitude results for the GLIMPSE point sources. However, according to the results from the WISE 22 {\mu}m survey, the sources associ- ated with OH masers are brighter than those associated with methanol masers. We interpret the presence of OH and methanol masers mark the locations of regions where stars are forming. The OH masers are located on the borders of sharp features found in the IR. These are referred to as bubbles. If the OH masers mark the positions of protostars, the result provides indirect evidence for triggered star formation caused by the expansion of the bubbles.Comment: 23 pages (11 pages online only), 12 figures, Accepted. Boundedness of operators on the Bergman spaces associated with a class of generalized analytic functions

The purpose of the paper is to study the operators on the weighted Bergman spaces on the unit disk D{\mathbb{D}}, denoted by Aλ,wp(D)A^{p}_{\lambda,w}({\mathbb{D}}), that are associated with a class of generalized analytic functions, named the λ\lambda-analytic functions, and with a class of radial weight functions ww. For λ≥0\lambda\ge0, a C2C^2 function ff on D{{\mathbb D}} is said to be λ\lambda-analytic if Dzˉf=0D_{\bar{z}}f=0, where DzˉD_{\bar{z}} is the (complex) Dunkl operator given by Dzˉf=∂zˉf−λ(f(z)−f(zˉ))/(z−zˉ)D_{\bar{z}}f=\partial_{\bar{z}}f-\lambda(f(z)-f(\bar{z}))/(z-\bar{z}). It is shown that, for 2λ/(2λ+1)≤p≤12\lambda/(2\lambda+1)\le p\le1, the boundedness of an operator from Aλ,wp(D)A^{p}_{\lambda,w}({\mathbb{D}}) into a Banach space depends only upon the norm estimate of a single vector-valued λ\lambda-analytic function. As applications, we obtain a necessary and sufficient conditions of sequence multipliers on the spaces Aλ,wp(D)A^{p}_{\lambda,w}({\mathbb{D}}) for general weights ww, and characterize the dual space of Aλ,wp(D)A^{p}_{\lambda,w}({\mathbb{D}}) for the power weight w=(1−∣z∣2)α−1w=(1-|z|^2)^{\alpha-1} with α>0\alpha>0, and also give a sufficient condition of Carleson type for boundedness of multiplication operators on Aλ,wp(D)A^{p}_{\lambda,w}({\mathbb{D}}).Comment: 42 page

Purpose: To study the influence of various doses of ropivacaine (Ropi) on postoperative analgesia, incidence of complications and stress factors in patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty (TKA). Methods: One hundred and fifty (150) patients who received TKA treatment in Ganzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2017 to January 2019 were randomly assigned to low-dose Ropi (0.15 %, group A), medium-dose Ropi (0.20 %, group B) and high-dose Ropi (0.30 %, group C), with 50 patients in each group. Changes in visual analogue scale (VAS) scores, MMSE scores, cognitive dysfunction, serum cortisol (Cor) and adverse reactions were determined before and after surgery. Results: Compared with group A, scores on rest visual analogue scale (RVAS) and passive visual analogue scale (PVAS) were significantly higher in low-dose and high-dose Ropi groups 24 and 48 h postoperatively (p < 0.05). Serum Cor levels in low-dose Ropi-treated patients were significantly lower than those in the other groups at 24 and 48 h after surgery (p < 0.05). The MMSE scores at 48 and 72 h after surgery were significantly higher in low-dose Ropi-treated patients than in the other 2 groups. The number of patients with cognitive impairment after surgery (POCD) was significantly higher in groups B and C than in A (p < 0.05). Conclusion: Low-dose Ropi exerts significant analgesic effect on elderly patients undergoing TKA, and improves their cognitive function without increasing stress response. Therefore, it should be further investigated on a larger scale for its potential as a candidate analgesic for patients after TKA

mHealth in China and the United States: How Mobile Technology is Transforming Healthcare in the World's Two Largest Economies

    Get PDF
In this paper, we explore ways mobile technology can help with these difficulties. Specifically, we look at avenues through which mobile devices boost productivity, aid communications, and help providers improve affordability, access, and treatment. Using data drawn from China and the United States as well as global trends, we look at recent developments andemerging opportunities in mobile health, or mHealth. We argue that mobile technology assists patients, health providers, and policymakers in several different respects. It helps patients by giving them tools to monitor their health conditions and communicate those results to physicians. It enables health providers to connect with colleagues and offers alternative sources of information for patients. It is also an important tool to inform policymakers on health delivery and medical outcomes

Research on Preference Polyhedron Model Based Evolutionary Multiobjective Optimization Method for Multilink Transmission Mechanism Conceptual Design

To make the optimal design of the multilink transmission mechanism applied in mechanical press, the intelligent optimization techniques are explored in this paper. A preference polyhedron model and new domination relationships evaluation methodology are proposed for the purpose of reaching balance among kinematic performance, dynamic performance, and other performances of the multilink transmission mechanism during the conceptual design phase. Based on the traditional evaluation index of single target of multicriteria design optimization, the robust metrics of the mechanism system and preference metrics of decision-maker are taken into consideration in this preference polyhedron model and reflected by geometrical characteristic of the model. At last, two optimized multilink transmission mechanisms are designed based on the proposed preference polyhedron model with different evolutionary algorithms, and the result verifies the validity of the proposed optimization method
